It is an honor to have been invited to serve as Seminary Director to the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple. For me this is a time of coming full circle. In 2012 I began my journey with the Temple, and it has helped me grow in ways I never imagined for myself. I can only say that it was life changing, and I have always acknowledged that it was not an easy thing to walk this red road. But, in the end, this day and the days that follow I have been shown how to live in grace and gratitude with my eyes and heart wide open, because of these years of learning and experiencing faith through the teachings received from this loving community. It is my deepest desire to hold that vision for all new seminarians that come to our community. Those seeking understanding, a purposeful and sometimes pathless road to a deeper spirituality in their day to day life. Sustainable teachings for a life long commitment to a devoted way of living a spiritually satisfying life. This is a birthright gift, unfortunately some of us have had many interferences and detours and must seek guidance back to our Beloved Creator's true desire for us. As Seminary Director I intend to uphold the original goals of the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple Seminary program. Keeping my ordination vows in mind as I walk this new path, continuing to grow into full bloom like the springtime unfolding with the guidance of our Beloved Creator and community. GChi Miigwetch |
