Sunday Service: Welcome to Advent with Cathy Parker

​For Christians, Advent is a season of waiting and preparing for the birth of Jesus. It coincides with the period of darkness that precedes the Winter Solstice in the Northern hemisphere. Both are times where we wait for the light. We will explore the 4 themes of Advent and how they show up in other faith traditions. How can these themes help you prepare for the return of the light?

​About the presenter: Cathy Parker is a Spiritual Mentor and a Life Coach. She completed the Spiritual Mentoring certificate program here at the Temple last June. She was raised in the Jesus tradition and continues to seek beyond that foundation.
