The Spiritual Mentoring Certificate Program is a nine-month program
designed to provide the skills to provide the service of spiritual mentoring, also called spiritual direction or spiritual companioning. It is especially designed for those wanting to cultivate the inner presence and skills necessary for offering mentoring to those in need. This program is open to ordained clergy, seminarians in training, as well as to mental health counselors and other helping professionals who may desire to incorporate a spiritual focus into their practice.

Days and Dates: One Saturday and one Wednesday per month for 9 months and the weekend of June 13 for retreat and graduation.
Saturdays: 9/27, 10/18, 11/22, 12/20, 1/24, 2/28, 3/28, 4/25, 5/23, 6/13
Wednesdays: 10/8, 11/12, 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/11, 4/8, 5/13, 6/10
Format: Primarily online via video conferencing.
Cost: Tuition - $2500, Books - approximately $50, In-person Retreat - Travel expenses will be the student's responsibility.
Program Guide/Facilitator: Carrie A. Ives is an interfaith minister, spiritual companion, and teacher with personal and professional experience working with chronic illness. She was ordained in 2013 by the Tree of Life Interfaith Temple and certified as a spiritual director in 2015. She leads the group SoulCare: Befriending your Body, as well as various retreats at Rolling Ridge Retreat and Conference Center. She also leads worship services in New Hampshire and Maine.
