The ritual of candle lighting for the dead symbolizes remembrance, hope, and a connection to the spiritual realm. In the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth we pause to reflect on the death part of the cycle of life. We, the living, remember those we have we have known and lost with gratitude for gifts received and for love immortal.
