Writing Our Stories: Finding Our Voice
Have you thought about writing your life stories? Do you wish you had a safe space in which to share the words of your heart? If so, this workshop is for you. Within a circle of trust, we will write, read our work and support each other in crafting words that reach others. Topics will cover structure, theme, plot, narrative, dialogue and word choice.
Program objectives and outcomes: In this workshop participants will create a writing circle that is a safe container for sharing our written work and providing support and encouragement. Participants will be asked to write outside of class and to submit writing each week to read and share in circle
Who will this program benefit? Anyone interested in learning how to share and shape stories from their life experiences. We will focus on writing from the heart in a safe circle of trust.

About the Presenter: Carol LaChance is an interfaith minister, a teacher and a birth doula. She has offered writing classes at Tree of Life and helps to facilitate retreats in Ireland and New England.
